Summary

The transfer inventory application allows warehouse inventory to be moved from location to location in the back-end system at the same time the inventory is physically moved. If transferring a LPN, all contents (items) in the LPN will be transferred. This saves users from needing to enter each individual item in the LPN. Real-time data capture minimizes the chance of data-entry errors by allowing the user to scan critical information into the backend system instead of manually entering it at a later time.

Enter the following information into your system of record with a single scan:

  • Item number
  • Lot number
  • Serial number
  • Location (from and to)
